Cinesol partners with a variety of local, regional, and national publications and trade magazines

Website and E-Mail Blasts
A hyperlinked logo may be placed on our website. We receive more than 5,000 hits per day during Festival time alone. We also send out membership newsletters and e-mail blasts on a regular basis throughout the year that feature sponsor logos and promotions

Press Releases
Press Releases are sent out to local, regional, and national media regarding films, the Festival, and other special events.

Public Recognition and Acknowledgement
Sponsors receive public recognition and thanks at Press Launch, Opening Night, Gala, Individual Sponsored Screenings and Closing Night/Awards Ceremony.

Pre-Screening Trailer
Runs before every theatrical film presentation during the Festival

Program Guide
Sponsors and marketing partners receive print placement in the Festival Program Guide.

Hospitality Guide
Guide of where and what of the Valley and is available to all visiting attendees throughout the Festival

Street Banners
Banners are hung up and down major business corridors for two weeks prior to and during the festival

Official Poster
Posters are produced and displayed at theatres, ticket locations, and business venues throughout the Rio Grande Valley

Radio and Television Spots
Cinesol produces radio and television spots for broadcast on local and public stations which may be tagged with sponsor identification

On-Site Opportunities
Companies can have on-site presence in high-traffic VIP/filmmaker areas and distribute material such as collateral, coupons, and offers, as well as sampling items

On-Site Signage
Place company signs and banners in high -traffic areas at designated screenings or receptions

Invitations/All-Access Passes
Sponsors may receive allotments of AA Passes and invitations to exclusive film screenings and parties during the Festival

Awards and Prizes
Sponsors can take advantage of the opportunity to present or contribute awards received by filmmakers and screenwriters at our Awards Gala.

FROM THE CINESOL VOLUNTEERS

Have you even seen a film so moving that it changed an aspect of your life? Have you ever been inspired by a film to call an old friend, let go of a relationship, or raise awareness about a certain issue? Have you ever sat in a movie theater and cried silently because what you were watching made you remember someone from your past?

Film is a vital art form and more than newspapers, books, and television, can transport an individual into the shoes of characters that colorfully illustrate the human struggle and show us a reality that we would never otherwise understand. Thought-provoking, bold, and nostalgic, film can change our perception of a culture, issue, or individual we’ve only heard about.

Cinesol is recognized as one of the top media arts events in Texas. We are a group of volunteers working together year round to present our community with the work of filmmakers and screenwriters whose work we feel is visionary. We take the event to the people all over the Rio Grande Valley from Brownsville to McAllen making us one of the few traveling film festivals.

Films are sent in not only from South Texas, but from all over the world. They are premiers, advance screenings, independent competition films, student films, shorts, and documentaries. We are dedicated to providing an avenue for independent filmmakers, especially from the lower Rio Grande Valley, to showcase their work and help them connect with others in their industry.

We are passionate about bringing new and provocative film to a region that would not otherwise be able to see the work of the talented group of individuals that Cinesol has seen in the past and will continue to deliver. We are constantly looking for creative ways to put on an event that brings programming to a dedicated audience that continues to grow. Unfortunately, ticket sales alone cannot cover the costs of staging such an event, and in order to underwrite these costs, we are asking for your help.
